HSBC launches a national work experience campaign... only through Directions!

We're delighted to announce that on Monday 16 January HSBC will launch its national work experience campaign, enabling over a hundred people to get access to a placement to find out more about a career in banking.

When are placements available?
Placements are available throughout the remainder of the academic year. Some locations have specific dates, but many HSBC offices and branch networks are open to what suits students! Placements vary in length but most are for between one and two weeks.

What's the application process?
Only students registered with Directions will receive an email with the link to the application system! Please forward this email to your students who may be interested and ask them to REGISTER NOW WITH DIRECTIONS. An email with the application details will be sent MONDAY 16 JANUARY and WEDNESDAY 18 JANUARY so students must be registered by then in order to receive the notice!

Application is on-line and successful applicants will have a telephone conversation with one of HSBC’s current graduate trainees.  Successful candidates will be offered a placement in their preferred location and where dates are flexible, on the dates that are suitable for both the student and the organisation.

What's the application timescale?

Applications OPEN on MONDAY 16 JANUARY.
Applications CLOSE at 23.59 on SUNDAY 29 JANUARY.
